Marstow Double En-suite Room
Pretty cosy bedroom. Overlooks farmland sharing the countryside with cows and sheep. Has shower ensuite and TV.

Ross Suite
2 roomed accommodation for 6 people with farmland views on 2nd floor. King size bed in the master bedroom. 2 single beds in the second bedroom and bunk beds. En suite shower and TV with DVD.

Accommodation facilities
The ground floor Day Room has a sofa bed and futon. A small conservatory attached overlooks the garden and has an access door. Alongside the Day Room is a bathroom with separate shower/wet area and a toilet.
The dining room can seat 20, plus the kitchen/breakfast room has table seating up to 8 (useful for young families). High chairs are available.
The kitchen has a good range of cooking facilities. 2 oven Aga – (note: only on during months of October to March). Eye-level double electric ovens and grill. 4 ring gas hob, and 2 electric rings as well as a convection and grill microwave. Fridge/freezer and cupboards containing utensils equipment, and china sufficient for catering for 20 people.
The utility contains a dishwasher and 4 ring electric hob and oven. The Boot room contains a tumble dryer and a second dishwasher.
On the first floor the majestic Monmouth Suite has an unique king size 4 poster bed as well as a Victorian bathroom complete with large roll-top bath.
The spacious Hunter Suite, overlooking farmland, has a king-size bed, single bed and rollout bed for a family of four, with a large shower ensuite.
Other attractive ensuite bedrooms include the Magnolia Room (treble); the Doward Room, (treble); Marstow Room, (double).
On the second floor the Ross Suite has two adjoining bedrooms to accommodate a family/group of 6, the suite is equipped with TV and DVD player.

We have a dual system of heating water, both gas and electricity. It won’t cope with all showering and bathing at the same time, and immediately after one another. So some leeway required.

Yes, please. Otherwise, you may find yourselves with no dry towels, and it’s not good to tumble dry used towels!

There’s a rustic BBQ available for your use, powered by good old fashioned charcoal,
Yes, we do, we welcome dogs and have a lovely secure garden. We do require proof of up to date inoculations to keep the garden secure from disease too. There is a charge of £5 per dog per night. We would be grateful that dogs are kept to the ground floor area.
You will have the Tel.No. so please call us immediately. Response times are usually immediate, or within 30 minute. Problem solving will depend on the priority/seriousness of the situation and current Covid recommendations.
Instructions are in every bedroom, and in the Boot Room where the fire alarm panel is, fire exits are signposted.
Most windows at the front and side of the house have secondary glazing. The trees actually are effective at absorbing noise too.

Yes – Woods of Whitchurch next door, and a Budgens and Greggs at the petrol station on the opposite side of the village.
Besides in the village, both Ross on Wye and Monmouth have supermarkets.

Yes. Buses go to Ross on Wye and Monmouth. Timetables may be subject to change.
You are likely to head near Ross or Monmouth, so it’s best to google taxis in HR9 area or taxis in NP25 area. We are unable to recommend any firm.

We do not allow fireworks or Chinese lanterns. We ask that you keep music to a tolerable level for your near neighbours.
Yes. Both Ross and Monmouth have leisure facilities usually. But Covid restrictions may be in place.
