Frequently Asked Questions about booking
Yes, most definitely. If you wish, we will send you a copy of our regime before you book. If you have booked, the completed checklist will be at PH on your arrival.
Outside of any Lockdown restrictions, a 25% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the balance payable 8 weeks before the date of your holiday. Do call us if you have any concerns.
Outside Lockdown restrictions our normal T and C apply. If you cannot take your holiday, and you cancel up to 8 weeks before the date of your holiday, you are not liable to pay for the booking in full. To check your position – please check our T and C on the website, and/or call us
Outside Bank Holidays and the summer season, you can book for a min 2 nights. To book for more than 14 nights the system will ask you to call us.
Not personally, but we will telephone you early evening on your arrival
Not if we have another party coming in within 36 hours after your departure. With the in-depth nature of Covid cleaning protocols and the size of Portland House we have to protect everyone involved
Yes. There is a charge of £5 per dog per night. We would be grateful that dogs are kept to the ground floor area.
